kaI · RoS
[καιρÏŒς] noun, Greek
“the perfect, delicate, crucial moment; the fleeting rightness of time and place that creates the opportune atmosphere for action, words, or movement.”
Our Mission
The Kairos Review is a youth-led literary magazine in veneration of kairos, the Greek word that denotes the propitious – albeit ephemeral – moment where the desire to simply create seizes us. Here, we fundamentally aim to uplift and publish the work of talented young writers, regardless of their background or identity. Give us pieces that subvert genre, narratives as rich with introspection as they are with metaphor, stories that evoke the raw, the powerful. Because at the nucleus of Kairos is our invitation of discussion and curiosity, so give us work that is authentically you.
