Issue II of the Kairos Review is currently in the works, but we are in need of your help! If you are a young writer who is passionate about their craft, submit to our magazine to see your work featured in the first edition! We publish poetry, prose, historical/scientific/critical essays, and op-eds. Submissions are currently open until February 20th, 2024. Happy writing!

"Anyone watching her would have thought Jiali gone by then, lost to the wind. Look more carefully, however, and one would see a miniscule rise and fall, not in Jiali’s body, but in the belly of the very cherry tree. Jiali had left her body under a cherry tree, but come spring, she would bloom.
